Isaac Abdelmessih

My name is Isaac Abdelmessih, and I am a broadcast journalist and on-air sports broadcaster based out of Orlando, Florida. I am a student at the University of Central Florida with a planned graduation in spring 2026. 

I am a passionate storyteller who's persistent in finding answers to questions the community I serve needs answered. Whether I’m reporting on an airport accident that occurred in New York City or the recent spike in motor vehicle thefts across UCF’s campus, I look to deliver necessary news to those who look to journalists for answers. I aspire to be a journalist who gives a voice to the voiceless, informs the public about current events, delivers the truth and tells stories in a manner that stands out from the rest. 

Covering local sports is also a large part of the content I cover in Orlando. Commentating on local hockey games has given me the opportunity to get to know young and upcoming athletes, interview players, and bring sports moments to life with my voice.

Behind the camera, I am the Executive Producer of UCF's Charge-On Air newscast, in which I use Rundown Creator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Audition to help show producers put our broadcasts together. I was also one of three campus government beat reporters for UCF's The Charge publication in 2024.
